Oregon Community Bank is seeking to fill the full-time position of Commercial Loan Administrator.  Oregon Community Bank is a community bank, which means we're proud to be part of the communities we serve.

The position is responsible for:

·        Documentation preparation

·        New loan system boarding

·        Modification and renewal processing

·        Core system maintenance

·        Documentation management

·        Tickler system maintenance

·        Loan file maintenance

·        Financial Statement management

·        File/Documentation logistics

Mortgage Underwriter/ Compliance Specialist

Underwrites residential loans ensuring compliance with lender and investor standards. Examines loan documentation for accuracy, completeness and overall credit risk. Works with loan originator or production staff to secure all required documents.

Maintains comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements within the mortgage industry to ensure compliance with applicable mortgage and banking laws, regulations, policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the development and coordination of compliance efforts for residential mortgage origination and servicing within the bank, including policy and procedure review/development, self-monitoring, and management.

Job Requirements

·        Self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment, while practicing sound lending judgment.

·        Five years’ experience with Microsoft Office suite of products; demonstrate ability with Excel and Word in addition to Adobe pdf.

·        Three years’ experience in front line mortgage underwriting, Proficiency with DU and LP.

·        Ability to work in fast paced operations center meeting all production based performance criteria for Quality of Workmanship and Quantity of Production Volume

·        Ability to calculate income, including tax return analysis and to properly catalog findings into a concise effective written summary.

·        Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal communications.

·        Thorough understanding of credit and an ability to review complex financial documents.

·        Ability to assess an individual's creditworthiness while adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements

Career Opening:  Vice President Business Banking

The position is responsible for:

• Maintaining existing loan portfolio including: management of loan renewals, updating financial documentation, strengthening relationships, and ensuring accurate risk ratings
• Prospecting, development and management of new commercial loan and deposit relationships
• Performing analysis and evaluation of financial information to determine credit worthiness, and loan terms
• Cross-selling Bank products to existing clients and prospects
• Development of strong relationships among centers of influence
• Strategic positioning within community business organizations

Candidate preferred qualifications include: a bachelor degree in a business related field, 5 years of commercial lending experience, sales experience with excellent calling etiquette skills, strong business development skills demonstrated by proven history of loan production and loan portfolio growth, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.  This position will also require thorough understanding of loan policy, structuring, underwriting and documentation requirements, as well as demonstrated risk assessment abilities.
