Mobile Deposit

One of the great features of our Mobile App is Mobile Deposit.  App users can take a picture of the front and back of their check and deposit it without having to go to the bank.  There are certain procedures users must follow in order to successfully make deposits using their smart phone. Below are the major guidelines for Mobile Deposit.  Please view our  Mobile Deposit Disclosures or call a personal banker at (608)835-3168 for more detailed information. 

Deposit Limits 

  • Maximum check amount - $5000.00
  • Maximum daily deposit total - $10,000.00

Depositor Responsibilities

  • Deposits must be captured and transmitted prior to 3:00 p.m. on business days to be included in your balance for that day.  Deposits captured after 3:00 p.m. or on weekends will be credited the next business day.  Mobile deposits will not show as "pending" on your account.  As long as we have received your deposit prior to 3:00 p.m. and it is acceptable, the deposit will be credited and available after we have performed our end of day processing.
  • All checks deposited must be properly endorsed
  • All checks deposited must be retained by you and securely stored for a period of 45 days after the deposit transmission
  • After 45 days, all checks must be destroyed

Items Not Accepted

  • Non-checks
  • Third party checks, i.e., any item payable to another party and endorsed to you
  • Altered, stale dated, post dated, or incomplete checks
  • Checks drawn on foreign banks
  • Checks without an endorsement
